PowerSchool Data Leaders Meeting

SCPCSD Form B Setup  PS Admins already have the form and we went over instructions during the April PS Admin webinar  After this meeting I will the schools that sent me a form last year an electronic copy of the form, with data already entered. Note: Any field that is highlighted in red should be reviewed each school year to verify that the data is accurate and up to date and if it is not that data should be edited for that school year. Master Schedule (rough draft) Determine any changes that make next school year different from this school year. This includes changes to room numbers and teachers. Determine which courses will be taught at your school next year, keeping in mind that there are various choices for each grade level.

PowerSchool in June 2013  June 28, 2013 by 5pm – SCPCSD School Form B (pages 2 & 3) is due back to me.  2012–13 Discipline and Truancy Verification  State webinar next week  I will talk to your PS Admins about this report in more detail during the next PS Admin webinar.  School deadline June 26, 2013

PowerSchool in July 2013  The servers for PowerSchool, PowerTeacher and the Parent Portal will be down the week of July 1, 2013 – July 5, 2013  PowerSchool admins will have mandatory training from July 15, 2013 – July 19, This will be an all day training class. It will be face to face training for new schools and PowerSchool admins that did not receive the summer training last year. It will be virtual for all PowerSchool admins that had the training last year.

PowerSchool in July 2013  At the end of training the PowerSchool admins will receive a certificate stating they completed the SCPCSD summer training for PowerSchool. Also the following week we will have 1 – 2 hour sessions virtually for classes on Transcripts, entering in historical grades, etcs. Note: Only gas mileage 50 miles or over one way will be reimbursed.
