New York City Itinerary April 9 to 10, 2015 Thursday, April 09, :30 AM Departure from your school aboard your luxury motorcoach. 10:00 AM Arrive in New York City and meet your tour leader. Have a brief orientation session about the Spanish language in North America with your tour leader. 10:30 AM Enjoy unparalleled views of New York from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck on the 70th floor of the Rockefeller Center in the heart of midtown Manhattan. 12:00 PM Time for lunch on Fifth Avenue, right by Central Park, the St-Patrick's Cathedral and more (individual expense). 2:00 PM Visit the El Taller Latino Americano art gallery and let your creativity shine during your hands-on Hispanic art workshop! 4:00 PM Drive through Washington Heights, the city's Dominican neighborhood, en route to… 5:00 PM Dinner at Casa del Mofongo, a cuban restaurant in Washington Heights. 7:00 PM If you can walk you can salsa! Learn how to salsa with a fun salsa workshop. 9:30 PM Check in to the hotel for a well deserved night's rest. Friday, April 10, :30 AM Deluxe continental breakfast and orientation at the hotel with your tour leader, followed by your hotel check-out. 10:00 AM Hands-on Latin percussion workshop at El Taller! 11:30 AM Time for lunch in the Upper West Side (at individual expense). 1:00 PM Orientation tour of Central Park with your tour leader on your way to... 2:00 PM Discover different art styles, from medieval to contemporary Spanish and Latin American, during your guided tour through the treasures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. 5:00 PM Enjoy classic Cuban food with the energy and excitement of old Havana as you dine at Havana Central. 6:30 PM Hugs and handshakes as you bid farewell to your tour leader and head back home. 9:00 PM Approximate time of arrival back at your school.
How much will it cost? $365 US / 49 participants $375 US / 45 participants $399 US / 40participants The per student rate will fluctuate based on the number of paying participants traveling. As a rule, $75 USD should be sufficient spending money for a 3 day “all inclusive” program, excluding clothes shopping or big ticket items. Jumpstreet highly recommends the RGP (Refund Guarantee Protection) plan to all students, as it allows them to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund (minus the cost of the plan) up to 48 hours prior to the trip’s departure. It also locks in the per student rate should a student with the RGP plan opt to cancel.
What is included in the tour price? We’re glad you asked! Roundtrip transportation via luxury motor coach(es). Complimentary chaperone at a rate of 1 per 10 students (negotiable). Hotel accommodations as per your budget. Exact location confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. Breakfasts and dinners, as per the itinerary. All meals en route are at individual expense. One tour leader per motorcoach, with the group 24 hours a day. Admission to all services as per the itinerary (includes tax and gratuities). Private group night-time security in the hotel.
What is included in the tour price? Jumpstreet Tours maintains 25 million dollars general liability insurance and 5 million dollars Errors and Omissions (professional) liability insurance. (Transportation suppliers furnish their own liability insurance). 24 hour access to Jumpstreet Headquarters while on tour. Jumpstreet baggage tags and emergency lanyard with contact card. Your money is placed in a Bonded Trust account. All itinerary contents are subject to availability at time of initial deposit. Cost breakdown The number of paying participants affects the per student rate for the trip. The largest part of the overall cost is the motorcoach; the more paying participants per coach, the less expensive it becomes for everyone. When a student cancels at the last minute, causing a reduction in the overall numbers, this causes the per person rate to increase for the remaining students. Therefore, your deposit is only refundable if a replacement can be found.

Optional cost: Refund Guarantee Protection The Refund Guarantee Protection is available to groups of 30+ paying participants. This is not an insurance product. The RGP is EXCLUSIVE to Jumpstreet and offers complete trip cancellation for any reason, at any time! The rule is simple: you can cancel when you want. Any reason is a good reason. One condition - the RGP must be purchased and paid for by the first deposit due date. The RGP includes: Trip cancellation at any time, whatever the reason. Medical insurance. The « medical insurance » portion is contracted through Travel Guard.
