The fast track to your future! Requirements  2200 on TAKS ELA & 3 in Writing or pass the COMPASS for HCC/ECP  Passing Accuplacer Test Results for UHD  University of St. Thomas ♦3.0 GPA ♦Test Results: SAT: Math and Critical Reading scores must equal a minimum of 1070, with a minimum score of 460 on each Math and Critical reading.SAT: Math and Critical Reading scores must equal a minimum of 1070, with a minimum score of 460 on each Math and Critical reading. The fast track to your future! Important Details  Juniors will be able to receive 30 hours over the two years  Students are encouraged to take six hours over the summer (No scholarships are available for summer classes  Classes 4 days a week at the HCC Spring Branch campus or SHS campus for UHD

The fast track to your future! Important Details  Transportation will be provided for campuses with large number of participants. Students may provide own transportation.  Required to attend College Success Fridays (HCC Program)  By law, all hours transfer to all state schools (continued)

The fast track to your future! Important Details  Grades from a dual credit class are not weighted.  May have to attend classes on SBISD holidays not observed by the institution of higher education  Student will be responsible for communication with the professor – not the parent (continued)

Cost of Attendance  Out of District Fees (216/3 sem hr course or $864 for four 3 sem hr courses/year at HCC & UHD  University of St. Thomas charges 50 % of tuition currently $832/hr for one course/semester= 2496 x 50%=$1248 currently $832/hr for one course/semester= 2496 x 50%=$1248

The fast track to your future! Scholarships  Scholarships are based on financial need  Maximum amount are Out of District Fees (216/3 sem hr course or $864 for four 3 sem hr courses/year for HCC & UHD  No Scholarships Available for Books
