Where was possible to see us IN LADAKH? In Ladakh, especially in the capital, Leh, was quite easy to make La Ngonpo project visible. People talk to each other „old- fashioned“ way: face to face. Internet connection is not really good, so the best way how to tell the others that „we are here“ is to put posters to public places. So we did. This is wall of quite famous pizzeria, where Round Table Discussion took place and also La Ngonpo exhibition took place there.

We invited people to visit Opening ceremony and La Ngonpo exhibition personally as well as by inviting posters. La Ngonpo was on every corner. Literally. Also we made moving advertisements. Successfully.

La Ngonpo exhibition took place firstly in Leh, that we moved the exhibition to the school in village more west called Mulbekh. Exhibition in Leh: 15th – 31st July 2012 Exhibition in Mulbekh: since 2nd August 2012 In Leh we organized an Opening ceremony for wide public as well as for teachers and students. The opening ceremony took place in the hall in Lamdon school on 13th June. There was culture program in which participated students from Secmol school, Lamdon school, Druk Padma school. The culture program lasted over one hour and the documentary film “Out of dreams” followed. The opening ceremony visited about 100 people, Ladaki people as well as foreigners. Also local TV station visited it. The whole ceremony prepared a team of volunteers. We put a lot of advertisements all around the city. Romana Vylitová gave an advertisement to local radio station. Volunteers personally invited Ladakh NGOs. Also all participating schools were personally invited.

What more about La Ngonpo being seen in Himalayas? The exhibition posters are just installed. Opening ceremony is going to start in a while…

Lamdon school hall: No doubt where to find us. There was quite a big hall…and it was quite full of visitors.

Even when we were just wandering around Leh, everybody could see that we are La Ngonpo people!

Final word As I have tried, I haven‘t mentioned everything : There was a lot of propagation connected with exhibitions in Czech Republic and there is another document dedicated to it (by MKC) Thanks to Ing.
