One day, when I was feeling lonely, I went for a walk to the animal shelter. I saw someone there who looked as lonely as me.

“My name is Skipper. How would you like me to be your dog?” He looked at me, and I’m almost sure he said,

Skipper moved to my house that very day.

Skipper was much more comfortable at my place than he was at the shelter.

Maybe a little too comfortable sometimes.

I loved coming home at night, because Skipper was always so happy to see me.

We had dinner together,

and then Skipper took me for a walk.

After our walk, we watched TV together. Our favourite show was “Friends.”

We were very happy, and we wanted to share that happiness.

Last Tuesday, we decided to do something about it. So when we went for our walk, we stopped into the animal shelter.

We met a very sweet dog named Sally.

And now we couldn’t be happier. The End
