4 new draft ordinances have been prepared and are under review by the Technical Advisory Team: Group Homes & Boarding Houses (revised) Parolee/Probationer housing Drug & Gang Related Crime on residential property Abatement of Chronic Nuisance Properties
3 Updates to existing ordinances are under preparation: Updates to Administrative Citations Update to Nuisance Abatement Ordinance Update to Abandoned/Foreclosure Ordinance 5 additional ordinances need research and review of other agencies and case law: Rental Unit Registration and Inspection Ordinance Landscape & Property Maintenance Motel residency Prostitution Alcoholic Beverage Permit regulations

Program Review & Refinement: Formation of staff Technical Advisory Team – all Hemet city departments Proposed Executive Advisory Committee (EAC) Proposed Government Agency Liaison Group Proposed Citizen Advisory Committee : Working group of Approx.15 members Meet once a month, approx. 6 month timeframe Provide comments and feedback to proposed ordinances, programs, and community conditions Selection by the EAC Formation by March 13, 2012
