#1 The Rules Have Changed 49% of parents said their child was 13 or older before starting to use the Internet unsupervised 14% of teens said they were that old with the majority being younger

The Rules Have Changed 23% of parents said their children log onto social networking sites more than once a day 51% of teens said they check in more than once a day

The Rules Have Changed When it comes to ‘sexting’ or exposing explicit pictures, 2% of parents believe their child had posted naked or near-naked photos of themselves… 13% of teens admitted doing so

The Rules Have Changed 39% of teens surveyed had posted something they later regretted and 28% shared personal information online they normally wouldn’t have shared publicly
