 In 1618, more colonists arrive in Jamestown  Apprentices  Indentured servants  Africans

 As Jamestown grew, colonists wanted a say in their government.  There were now 11 different settlements that made up Jamestown  How will this impact the future of “America”?  In 1619, the Virginia Co allowed elections  From each settlements, 2 men would be chosen as the representatives.  This is called the House of Burgesses  This will be how colonial government will run until the mid 1700s.
