The fundraising landscape Some philanthropic trusts/ foundations and corporations will only grant funds to not-for-profit organisations with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. Instead, Neighbourhood Houses/Centres can use the ANHCA Public Fund for DGR as a vehicle to accept tax deductible donations ($100 or over) or apply for grants from philanthropic foundations/trusts and corporations requiring DGR (deductible gift recipient) tax status.
