FORENSIC SCIENCE 1.Application of Science to Law –Quality of foods, nature of drugs, car emissions, pesticides, etc… 2.Begins at the Crime Scene –Use Science to piece together the events of the crime 3.Forensic Science a.k.a. = Criminalistics

Where does the word “Forensic” come from? Forensic means “before the forum” Ancient Roman physicians had to present evidence from the stabbing of Julius Caesar as to which senator killed him of the 37 stab wounds.
