EGMONT INCOMING SICILY Egmont Viaggi is an incoming tour operator specialised in Sicily and Southern Italy with more than fifteen years of solid experience in this business. We dispose of our own allotments in all major hotels in the area of Taormina and throughout Sicily and provide customer service and assistance in different languages, daily excursions, coach and taxi services, Fly & Drive packages, etc. We offer a multitude of packages for group tours, also with thematic itineraries, like historical and archaeological routes, Sicilian vineyards, gastronomy & handicrafts, literature and more. Also sports enthusiasts will be served: trekking, hiking and mountain biking-tours in unspoilt nature reserves. A highly motivated team takes care of VIP groups, incentives and special events and tailors any program to suit your client’s needs: from Sicilian country kitchen in rural locations to special gala dinners in historical venues and noble palaces, musical entertainment, jeep and motor scooter tours, volcano trekking, boat trips to the Aeolian Islands, treasure hunts, cooking classes, various sport activities, and so on.

MANAGEMENT My name is Nicola Salerno and I am the managing director of Egmont Viaggi - Incoming Sicily. I have been working in tourism for more then 20 years and have been holding the position of destination manager for Sicily of an Italian Incoming Operator representing important European Tour Operators like JMC, Thomson, Jetair, LTU Touristik. Furthermore, I have been the LTU Station Manager at Catania airport for 7 years. My wife Beate is of German origins and works for our company in the incentive department. She is also an authorized guide with a licence for the Province Messina, and worked several years as a tour manager for study tours in Sicily and in the Region Campania.

STAFF 12 employees are working for our company (9 of them are employed the whole year) distributed in the following departments: Booking department: employees 3 Incentives department: employees 2 Administration: employees 3 Clients Assistance: employee 1 During the period from March to October we increase our staff with 3 more employees assisting guests in the hotels for the T.O. and as tour leader for the regular weekly Tour of Sicily. We dispose of two offices one in the town of Taormina Sicily, and another one in the city of Olbia Sardinia.
