This house hosts not only his grave but also a museum, usually closed to the visitors, that collects the most important relics of the composer’s life. Experience Tours: Giuseppe Verdi’s sites

Grand Hotel et de Milan Opened in 1863, the Grand Hotel et de Milan preserve the charme of an ancient “house” of Milan. For over 27 years the Grand Hotel was actually Giuseppe Verdi ’s home in Milan, and many were the famous people who stayed at the hotel. Located a few steps from Teatro alla Scala and Duomo, the Grand Hotel et de Milan with its timeless elegance is ideal for both leisure and business staying.

Near Milan ….. Villa Medici Giulini A priceless collection of ancient instruments Located just 30km away from Milan, near Como Lake, Villa Medici Giulini is a perfect example of seventeenth-century stately home in the country. In addition to the beauty of the structure and its vast garden, the villa enjoys an international reputation for its valuable collection of keyboard instruments. Follow the story of the modern piano from room to room, from the amazing the first harpsichords and the organs, to the pianos of the French and Viennese school. Inside the villa it is possible to organize a private concert in which all these different types of piano will be played. After the concert, why not enjoy a gala dinner in the villa’s historical rooms or, in summer time, in its magnificent garden.

Near Milan…. Cremona City of Violins Stradivari and Violins Museum Cremona is the world capital of the art of violin and string making, a title of which the town is really proud especially because, out of all the musical instruments, violin is the one that can best arouse deep emotions. Over two hundred violin makers workshops keep the tradition alive by following the footprints of very well-known Cremonese violin makers such as Antonio Stradivari, the Amati's end the Guarneri's.
