Basic Information  Bill Gates was born William Henry Gates III on October 28, 1955, in Seattle, Washington.  Famed entrepreneur Bill Gates began to show an interest in computer programming at age 13.  Gates became one of the richest men in the world  In February 2014, Gates announced that he was stepping down as Microsoft's chairman.  Gates began to show an interest in computer programming at the age of 13 at the Lakeside School.

Basic information (Cont.)  He’s an American business magnate, philanthropist, investor, computer programmer, and inventor  Gates is the former chief executive and chairman of Microsoft, the world’s largest personal-computer software company, which he co- founded with Paul Allen.  Gates is one of the best-known entrepreneurs of the personal computer revolution.

Why is He a Good leader?  Bill doesn’t care about the money that he earns everyday when he was in the market business.  His caring, Growing, Learning, having the Vision, and the Motivation to create such a software that we use everyday in out modern day lives.  He once said “Someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality, you shouldn’t go through life being a victim.” he gives great motivational speeches on his success in life.

Why is He a good leader (cont.)  A recent Forbes highlighted his efforts to improve on his communication and public speaking skills.  Gates tries to soak in lessons learned from his mentor in order to become a better leader.  Without a doubt, Bill Gates is a man with vision. It was vision that inspired him to pursue the creation of a graphical interface that became Microsoft software.

I hope you will judge yourselves not on your professional accomplishments alone, but also on how well you work to address the world’s deepest inequities, on how well you treat people a world away who have nothing in common with you but their humanity”  Bill Gates founded what is now one of the most successful companies in the world, Microsoft.
