* Before Performance : Cut a hole at the bottom of an envelope Cut here!

Step 1: Ask someone to be your assistant. Any volunteer? Show Time Me ~ ~

Step 2: Take the envelope with a hole, and hold the hole with your fingers to make sure that nobody will see it. Show Time Hold the hole!

Step 3: Show the assistant that there is nothing in the envelope. Show Time Empty

Step 4: Ask the assistant to check the coin and put it into the envelope, and then touch the envelope to make sure the coin is in it. Show Time

The coin is here! * Step 5: Adjust the envelope to let the coin slide into your palm from the hole.

Step 6: Fold the envelope in half and in half again. Show Time

Step 7: Staple the envelope and put it on the desk. Show Time

Step 8: Take the other envelope and show everyone it’s empty. Show Time Empty

* Step 9: Put the coin in your palm secretly into the envelope. Show Time

Step 10: Fold the envelope and staple it. Show Time

Step 11: Place the envelope in the box and tell everyone you won’t touch it again and have no chance to do anything with it. Show Time

Step 12: Cut the first envelope in half with a pair of scissors. Show Time

Step 13: Ask the assistant if he/she remembers which half the coin is in. Show Time ? ?

Step 14: Take that half the assistant chooses and cut it into pieces to show there’s nothing in it, and then cut the other half into pieces to show the coin is not in this half, either. Show Time

Step 15: Remind the assistant there is an envelope in the box, and ask him/her to take it out. Show Time

Step 16: Ask him/her to open the envelope to show everyone what’s inside. Show Time
