Examples of Effective and Ineffective Power Point Slides

Slides The following are examples of power point slides explaining what an isotope is. Assess the slides based off of their accuracy, use of pictures, and effectiveness, using your check-bric.

Example 1 i·so·tope [ahy-suh-tohp] noun A version of an element, that has the same number of protons in the nucleus, but has different numbers of neutrons in the nucleus. This means that all isotopes of an element have the same atomic number, but different atomic masses. The average mass based of relative abundance of all the isotopes of an element is the called the “atomic mass” and is listed on the periodic table.

Example 2 Isotopes have different numbers of neutrons, but the same number of protons.

Example 3 In my opinion, isotopes are very important to learn about, because some isotopes of an element are radioactive. They also have different numbers of neutrons.
