Why go on residential There are numerous reasons for children attending a residential in their primary years: 1)Confidence building 2)Meeting new challenges and developing skills in preparation for secondary school 3)Developing independence 4)Developing new relationships and friendships which will support transition to secondary 5)The chance to learn a little more about themselves 6)Staying away with friends and the excitement of the challenge 7)Happy and lasting memories of their younger years!!!

Why Oakwood? Oakwood is a purpose built centre which most suitably meets the aims and rational we have for taking children on residential. We can help those who come through our doors to move forward and upward. We believe that everyone should have a mountain to climb, a challenge to meet, a goal to aim for. While striving for these things people will experience good and bad times and have to take some risks. We aim to provide people with the skills that they need to meet these challenges, face the risks and ultimately succeed. It is also amazing.. The best site visited in all the years we have been planning a residential!
