Steps for completing the project: 1. Shop!! Search the internet or the sales ads for items you would like to buy. 2. Add it up Calculate your totals including any tax, discounts or shipping charges. Use the worksheet to complete your totals. Show all of your work-this will be a big part of your grade!!! 3. Create your presentation Use the Power Point cheat sheet to walk you through the steps!

1. Shop! Search the internet or the sales ads for items you would like to buy. Be sure to write down the store or website, a description of the item and the price on your worksheet!

2. Add it up Calculate your totals including any tax, discounts or shipping charges. 1. Add items to shopping cart 2. Find your subtotal and record it on your worksheet. 3. Add a 6.5% sales tax to all items!

3. Create your presentation Use the Power Point template and cheat sheet to walk you through the steps! Each of you will start with an almost blank power point presentation. Never used Power Point before?? Don’t worry…each slide will have directions for you to follow.
