Ocean gateways for V4 countries  Hamburg –  Worldwide coverage  Historical strong connections  Easy understandable processes  Connections to the V4 countries:  - Trains  - Feeder service (mainly to Poland)  - Trucks (also cabottage trucks from all countries)  Koper –  Worldwide coverage  Strong connections to V4 countries:  - Trains  - Trucks  Short transit times to Far East ports  Fast growing port

 18 trains per week from Hamburg  21 trains per week from Koper  Regular trains to Bremerhaven  5 intermodal operators  Using Budapest terminals Mahart, Bilk, Törökbálint  Main hub for Hungary is Koper Train Connection Hungary

 In the container freight using trilangulation of the terminals:  Budapest/Dunajska Streda(Bratislava) / Wien  Automotive productions in cooperation with other „same group“ companies (Skoda in Czech, VW Slovakia, Audi Hungary, VW Poland)  Sharing of the train connection – via Wien, Dunajska Streda  Sharing of the truck connection – truck could in EU load/unload in every country, in fact Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish trucks are serving all of V4 countries Hungary in connection to V4 countries

 58 Train per week to/from Hamburg  11 Train per week to/from Koper  Regular trains to Bremerhaven, Rotterdam  4 operators  Terminals in Prague (2x), Lovosice, Plzen,Ceska Trebova, Zlin, Brno, Ostrava, Havirov  Main hub for Czech cargo is Hamburg port Train connection to the Czech Republic

 38 trains from Hamburg per week  Terminals in Dunajska Streda, Bratislava, Kosice, Sladkovicovo  Up to 25 trains from Koper per week  Regular trains via CZ to Bremerhaven, Rotterdam  Main Hub Hamburg, but Koper becoming more and more important Train connection Slovakia

 Gdynia and Gdansk ports with direct connection to the Far East destination  Disadvantage due to historical reason against Hamburg in Container shipping, as more connections vie Hamburg  Connection to Polish ports from V4 countries is not so strong comparing to Koper, Hamburg, Bremerhaven  Polish import/export strong on local ports Poland ports Gateway

 All V4 countries are using mostly the same garteways for the oceanfreight and sometimes are using the shared train connections  Strong automotive industry is also looking for new opportunities which brings to our countries new connections and better service  Last 20 years increased total volume of train connections to all V4 countries significantly which make Czech, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland as very competitive in connection to the ocean freight (and not only) and in logistic area at all (new developed logistic centres ) Summary
