Club Sports Basic Roles & Responsibilities Club Coaches To teach your respective sport appropriately Providing opportunities for success and development Ensuring a safe and productive environment for all club athletes Specific duties to be determined by club leadership Knowledge of adhering to any governing body guidelines Being “in the know”!

Training Dates: Safety Officer Training Monday, August 26 th 5:30pm-6:30pm Monday, September 16 th 5:30pm-6:30pm Wednesday, September 25 th 530pm-6:30pm Coaches-Instructors CPR/AED Certification & First Aid Orientation: Wednesday, September 18 th 5:30pm Thursday, September 19 th 5:30pm

Player/Injury Clearance After injury, players MUST see Athletic Trainer for assessment Player will be cleared by ATC (pending evaluation & Drexel doctor consultation – when needed)

Travel Safety Guidelines Travel Safety Tips Always wear safety belts Never travel within the hours of 12a – 6a Know the weather conditions Travel Itineraries – at least 2 days prior Behavior Expectations – lodging, dining, competition; travel only Only approved roster & coaches allowed in vehicles Absolutely NO ALCOHOL/NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES will be permitted during club travel regardless of age, role, or status among team.
