Bellwork – Final Exam Review #1

Final Exam Study Guide On a separate sheet of paper: Go through your list of topics and find definitions and examples in the textbook for the bold words. In groups of 3, go through each Unit on the study guide and write down a problem that models the topic shown (for each topic) on one sheet of paper per group. You will hand in these problems as a group at the end of class.

Bellwork – Final Exam Review #2 Gas is expensive these days! One gas station has decided to charge a $3 user fee regardless of how much gas you pump. Then, in addition, the number of gallons of gas you pump is directly proportional to the price per gallon. Write an equation to represent the cost of gas at that station. Define what each of your variables is. If you pump 12 gallons of gas at $2.10 per gallon, how much are you spending in total there? If you spent $31.50 in total, and the gas price was $2.25 per gallon, did you pump enough gas to fill your 18-gallon tank?
