LINK OUR LIBRARY PROGRAM  School program for Stoneridge Elementary to connect students with their public library.  Librarian will visit Friday assembly every 9 weeks and promote the use of the public library to students, parents and faculty.

READINGS THAT SHAPED PROGRAM  UNDERSTANDING AND DESCRIBING THE COMMUNITY WEBSITE  TRANSFORMING LIBRARIES BY EDWARDS, ROBISON AND UNGER

LOGIC MODEL  Inputs, Activities, and Outputs all lead to the Outcomes and Impact  Outcomes are to expand access to resources, programs and community relations between public and school libraries.  Impact is to help develop lifelong learning for students.

MARKETING PROGRAM GOALS  Help create lifelong learners that utilize resources  The hope is that parents will become involved in their child’s learning and take them to the public library  Goal of the school librarian is to expand access to resources and programs to the students and families in Piedmont, Oklahoma.

ADVOCACY PLAN-OBJECTIVES & KEY MESSAGE  THE LIBRARIAN IS BEING CUT FROM FULL TO PART TIME WHICH SHUTS DOWN LINK OUR LIBRARY PROGRAM.  KEY MESSAGE: “A FULL-TIME LIBRARIAN EQUALS A FULL TIME LEARNER.”

ADVOCACY PLAN-AUDIENCE Administration Faculty Parent-Teacher Organization The campaign is important because the librarian needs to be there full-time to support the student’s educational journey, foster the love of reading and provide programs like Link Our Library.

ADVOCACY PLAN-AUDIENCE  Think?- The library, librarian and Link Our Library program is important for students to develop lifelong learning skills.  Feel?- Feelings of sadness at the thought of potentially lacking a full-time librarian but hopefulness that she will get to continue full-time.  Do?- Write and contact administration about the importance of a full time librarian.
