LRES Birthday Policy LRES is supporting the PWC Wellness Policy… Encouraging students to celebrate in ways that contribute to good health and well-being other than eating cupcakes and sugary treats… 10 extra minutes of recess Donating a book to class by child Donate a game for indoor recess A small token for each student in class (ex. Pencils vs. Cupcakes) Parent guest reader If your child would like to celebrate his/her birthday, there is a GREEN form that will go home to choose a healthy “treat”. Please choose ONE treat.

Mystery Readers! I am looking for a parent, grandparent, etc. to come to class and read a book of his/her choice to students every other week. I never tell the children who the week's mystery reader will be, and I encourage you to keep the surprise, as well. Students can't wait to see who the mystery reader will be!
