School in Ancient Greece In ancient Greece Boys went to school when they were seven years old. Boys learned reading, writing and maths. Girls were taught at home by their mothers. Girls learned housework and cooking. Let’s dress up as Greek children.

The Olympian Greek Gods Fact File The Greek Gods live on Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece that was built be the Cyclopes. The Olympian Greek Gods became the main Gods of Ancient Greece after bringing down the Titans. The leader of the Olympian Gods is Zeus. There are 13 Greek Olympian Gods.

How did the brothers decide over who ruled where? The Olympian brothers were given a weapon each to battle the titans. Zeus was given the lightning bolt, Poseidon was given the trident and Hades was given the helmet of invisibility. After they defeated the Titans they drew lots to see who would rule what: Zeus the sky Poseidon the seas Hades the underworld.

Hera was married to Zeus. She was the queen of all the gods, and also the goddess of marriage. Hera was very jealous of her famous and powerful husband, Zeus. There are many myths about Hera's jealously, anger, and revenge. Other myths share stories about Hera's servant, Argus. Argus had 100 bright eyes all over his body. He was a great guard because he never closed more than half his eyes at one time!
