MAYOR’S OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 7 MOHCD has doubled our historical pipeline of affordable units in production. Current major projects include: – Small Sites Program – Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program (3,561 units) – HOPE SF (275 units currently) – 55 Laguna, Booker T Washington, Midtown, 1950 Mission, SWL 322-1, Hugo Hotel, Balboa Park Upper Yard (approximately 700 units)

MAYOR’S OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 8 MOHCD offers a range of downpayment assistance programs for first time home buyers at various income levels, including targeted programs for teachers and first-responders From July 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015, MOHCD has provided downpayment assistance to 63 households.

MAYOR’S OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 10 Grants to support community improvement projects in neighborhoods that are experiencing residential growth. – Residential developers and neighborhood groups jointly apply for funding – Individual grants range form $10,000-$200,000 – Examples include: Parks Murals Gardens Community centers Pedestrian Safety Water conservation & energy efficiency
