Regional Resources: Tools for Entrepreneurs Region – Resources – A geographic area united by similar characteristics. Something that is used to produce a good or service.

Natural Resources – Capital Resources – Human Resources – Things that occur naturally, such as air, water, minerals, and trees, that a business needs to make and sell goods and services. Buildings, tools, and machines businesses use to make and sell goods and services. People who do the work that a business needs to make and sell goods and services.

Goods – Service – Items that can be bought or sold. Work done for others, such as haircuts or car repairs.

Hot Dog Stand Advertising – Customer – Expense – Loss – Profit – Revenue – Persuading customers to buy a good or service. A person who buys something. Money spent to buy resources. When a business pays more in expenses than it makes in sales. When a business makes more money in sales than it spends in expenses. Money earned from sales.
