How To Pass A Hair Drug Test

What is a Hair Drug Test? As its name connotes, this kind of drug testing uses hair follicles to establish and verify persistent drug and other substance misuse of a person. With its accurate process, one can simply uncover the historical record of drug use and misuse determining a chronic one to a one-off. If a donor has ingested a drug, this directly enters his bloodstream and will be absorbed into his hair follicle making it very apparent to track the exposure of the donor in using various kinds of drugs and substances. Body hair and head hair are the most common sources for this testing. A body hair is known to provide a 356-day window for detection. However, this cannot be broken down into a 30-day interval since it is part of the human system science to have body hair be replaced on a yearly basis. The head hair, on the other hand, could give a 90-day window for detection for 1.5” length while 0.5” could provide a 30- day time frame for detection. What is drug test? Alternatively termed toxicology test, a drug test is a procedure conducted to screen an individual for any foreign substances in his/her system. It identifies the presence of particular chemicals linked to certain categories of drugs, both illegal drugs (heroin, cannabis and cocaine) and often abused legal drugs like nicotine/alcohol. How Does Hair Drug Test Work? There are several ways in which a person can be tested for the presence of drugs in their system. Some of the most common ones include the urine test and the hair follicle test. The hair drug test is an alternative to the urine test which has been thwarted several times and people got to mask the presence of drugs in their urine. For this reason, more and more people are resorting to the hair drug test as it is way more accurate and cannot be masked using cleansing products. So, exactly how does hair drug test work? Well, read on and find out. Before we can start the entire process, it is important to know that the hair test can be used to detect drugs that have been consumed by a person within the past 90 days. Once a person has consumed a drug, it is usually trapped within the hair follicles. This means that a tiny amount of hair sample from a person can be used to test for the presence of different kinds of drugs. At this point, it is important to note that cleansing products such as shampoo can only clean the outside of the hair and have no effect on the inner parts of the hair where traces of the drugs are stored. Once the hair sample has been obtained, it undergoes treatment with a chemical in order to test for metabolites. This is used to determine how long it has been since a person consumed the drug. The drugs that are typically tested for in a hair drug test include amphetamines such as ecstasy, opiates such as heroin, cocaine, marijuana, angel dust and phencyclidine. It is also possible to test for alcohol using the hair drug test. In some cases, body hair can be used for the hair drug testing instead of hair of the head. For hair that has traces of a consumed drug to start growing out of the scalp, it usually takes about 5 to 7 days. This means that very recent usage of a drug will not be obviously evident with a hair drug test. In such a scenario, a urine test can be used in order to test for very recent drug use. The color of hair has been proven to be of no effect on the results of the hair drug test since hair color is affected by melanin. Visit here:

Knowing the Different Drug Testing Methods It can be disturbing how drug abuse cases increase day by day. The real concern, however, is how drug addiction can pose serious threats to the health and well being of an individual and to the environment where he or she lives. Intoxication of illegal drugs can bring about risks into the society. Drug abuse can destroy lives, ruin families and even put careers into end. Oftentimes, people underestimate the complexity of drug addiction. Drug addiction is not simply a vice; moreover, it can be a disease that impacts the brain. Drug addiction brings about health problems and social problems such as depression, anger and violent behaviors. The advancements of science and technology have brought about different Drug Testing methods to be able to detect drug presence in the body. These methods are used to ensure that people are aware about the life threatening risks of drug addiction to the body and the society.

Methods of Drug Testing In many cases of drug testing, the person’s blood is used as an example to determine if he or she is positive in drug use. Much like all the other lab samples, the blood plays an important role in determining the drug usage for it is more likely to be reliable. Cheating is not possible in blood drug testing. In addition, drug blood testing can provide a history of a person’s drug usage. Another Drug Testing method is the urine drug testing. This method is an easy, reliable and convenient way to see the presence of substances. It can track the drugs taken within the past week. One of the many advantages of urine drug testing is it can give results quickly. Common issue on urine drug testing is when it comes to the reliability of the urine. Alteration of the urine sample can be made. Thus, many of the hospitals and laboratories require the collection of the sample under supervision. Saliva drug testing can also be a method. This method is convenient to determine the presence of substances within the last few hours which means it can only detect the drug usage within the past 48 hours. Unlike urine drug testing, saliva testing is not easy to be altered since it is commonly taken in front of the people involved. Visit here:
