INNOVATIVE GLOBALIZATION PROGRAMS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS The WU Perspective

 Strategic Partnerships with WU’s MSc Programs  ISU Russia in Vienna a joint intensive program at WU for WU and Partner University Students

The Starting Point  14 Master Programs (MSc || LLM)  7 in English

Strategic Partnerships  Question  How to create an international environment, which contributes to the positioning and further development of the program and which provides for an international exposure of the students attending the specific MSc program?  The Approach  Specific cooperation agreements with leading partners in similar fields.  Strategic Partnerships

Strategic Partnerships  Objectives:  Intensive academic networking to strengthen teaching and research.  Establishing an „international classroom at home“ to create sustainable networks for high potential students from different regions.  Efficient credit transfer procedures to improce the quality of teaching and the academic value of studying abroad.

ISU Russia in Vienna  2013 Program – Key Elements:  Content: „The Intrapreneurship Lab“: Create and enrich an entrepreneurial project in the context of a multinational company.  Teamwork: Through interaction in intercultural teams and with faculty students experience the process of developing a business concept and the critical skills involved in creating a business model in a real-life context.  Real-life project “Smart Cities” in co-operation with corporate partner.
