 PROFITS FROM OIL USED FOR  BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE  NEW INDUSTRIES  BANKING  STEEL  PETRO-CHEMICAL

 OPEC-ORGANIZATION OF PETROLEUM EXPORTING COUNTRIES  COUNTRIES MEET TO DECIDE HOW MUCH OIL TO PRODUCE AND WHAT PRICE TO SELL AT  DONE TO DECREASE THE INFLUENCE OF WESTERN OIL COMPANIES

 WOMEN ARE HONORED AS WIVES AND MOTHERS BUT ARE LIMITED IN OTHER SOCIETY AREAS.  CANNOT ASSOCIATE WITH MEN OUTSIDE OF THEIR FAMILYS SO JOB OPPORTUNITIES ARE LIMITED

 HOLY CITIES OF ISLAM  SAUDI ARABIA IS THE GUARDIAN OF THESE CITIES SO MUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO UPSET CONSERVATIVES  MECCA IS THE CITY OF PILGRAMAGE HOME TO THE KAABA.

 THESE COUNTRIES HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THE CHANGE OF THE REST OF THE ARABIAN PENINSULA.  SLOWER TO DEVELOP COUNTRY USING OIL REVENUES.  YEMEN IS THE POOREST COUNTRY ON THE PENINSULA

 YEMEN WAS ONLY UNIFIED AS A COUNTRY IN  MOST PEOPLE MAKE MONEY BY FARMING AND HERDING  OMAN IS JUST DEVELOPING NEW INDUSTRIES, TOURISM AND MANUFACTURING.
