8 Main priorities To implement the fundamental requirements of EC food law (acquis communautaire) Achieve a high level of protection of public health and safety, and consumer confidence The flexible adaptation of legislation on the basis of scientific evidence and risk assessment, with respect to international obligations

9 Working together for 15 months we promise to help CAFIA To protect the consumers by the improvement of an effective control system for the hygiene and safety of imported, produced and/or circulated foodstuffs To be more effective in the control of labeling, presentation and advertising of foodstuffs
