FFDI Role during BioBoard  Purpose of involvement → highly relevant for own strategy of boosting the technological capacity and competitiveness of the producers FFDI represent;  Main role → WP1: getting own members involved into project so that they can communicate their needs to define specifications for BioBoard→ WP 2, WP 3, WP 4, WP 5: guide the research effort during those WPs while the whey coating is being formulated, tested on various paperboard substrates and constructions as well as for recycling and in contact with various foodstuffs and beverages → WP 6: assist in mobilising own members to také part in industrial trials carried out in WP 6 in order to validate an industrial coating process→ WP 7: play a very active role in demonstrating the processing, performance and properties of BioBoard to own members

→ WP 8: play a very active role in demonstrating the processing, performance and properties of BioBoard to own members → WP 9: very active in organising training sessions to train their members concerning project results of RTDs;  Why another exploitation & dissemination? → extremely interested in giving access to the results of RTDs among own members → keen to explore new uses for the BioBoard formulation in other areas of the foodstuffs industry;

FFDI post-project role in BioBoard To ensure that the critical post project industrialisation phase of the work is carried out and the novel bio-packaging system complies with regulations Pushing and promoting the uptake of BioBoard bio-packaging system among own members, and ensuring that the supply chain is in place and prepared to serve market demand Carrying out dissemination efforts that will ensure fact when a large community of EU food and beverage packaging and packing SMEs are targeted for uptake of the results due to the quality and reach of the participating SME-AGs Managing and exploiting the BioBoard Trademark™ and label;
