Tardy Policy Do NOT be late!!! Students will be counted tardy if you are not seated at the start of class. Students should be seated with supplies and working on the warm-up.

1½ inch Binder with 2 dividers (Book work and Warm Ups) filled with Notebook paper or spiral notebook Graph Paper (everyone will need their own graph paper) Pencils  Preferably Mechanical (You must write in pencil on all tests and quizzes or it is an automatic 10 points off!!) Test and Quizzes Test count twice Quizzes count once We will have several quizzes in class. There will be at least TWO tests every six weeks. Students have one week to retake a test with a grade below a 70. Be prepared every day!!!!

Classwork We will work in groups most of the year. Time is essential and students should stay focused on assignments. Class work will be counted along with homework for a grade.

Homework There is homework every night! Your homework grade will consist of a complete section’s work including class problems. The homework grade can be a completion or accuracy grade. Must show ALL your work to get credit! Students will be assigned mandatory tutorials for missing/incomplete work.

Late work  -10 points Late work must be graded in tutorials and turned in to the late work drawer. This will be done at lunch or after school tutorials. After 3 late assignments, parents will be contacted and a conference may be requested. All late work must be turned in before a test can be retaken. Late Work Policy

You are encouraged to come to tutorials any time you need extra help! Afternoons: 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm Monday through Thursday Friday afternoon tutorials are by teacher invitation! Tutorials

We move VERY fast in this class and it is hard to catch up after being absent. It is very important that each student attend tutorials upon return to school, to grade and turn in homework. Absent work should be completed, graded, and turned in to the makeup drawer during tutorials the next class day. Absent Procedures

Any work not turned in the next class day will become late work and the student will be assigned mandatory tutorials to complete the work. Quizzes & Tests must be taken in tutorials. All other work may be done at home. Absent Procedures Cont.

Journals: Composition Book Methods and Meanings or Math Notes (must have all definitions along with examples) Learning Log Problems (must have complete sentences) Chapter Closures (Reviews) Learning Logs will be turned in at the end of each chapter for a grade. Journals will count twice a homework grade.

Text Books Books are provided for classroom use. All students will be given online access to textbooks and work assigned. If you need to check out a textbook, you must see your teacher.
