 I will count down 3, 2,1 and the whole class should be completely quiet by the time I get to 1 Let’s give it a try!

 Composition Notebook Math “Playbook”  SHARPENED Pencils 2  2” three-ring binder Package of 6 – tab dividers Notebook paper  Glue Sticks  Scissors  Laptops

 You are to line up outside of Miss Colwell’s door against the lockers until you get the okay to come in  As you walk in, you are to grab your math playbook off the bookshelf on your left  Hang your backpack up on your numbered hook (when we get them)  Have a seat and follow directions on the board for that day

 Class routine will either consist of whole group instruction or in three 20 minute groups Small Group Teacher Computer Group Clipboard Math Group  Group procedures and expectations will be discussed when we start later in the week!

 Homework will be assigned daily and checked the following day.  Miss Colwell will stamp your paper to show it was completed on time.  You then hold on to all assignments for the week to be collected on Friday with your homework rubric.

5 points will be deducted for each day an assignment is late. Parents contacted when missing work exceeds three assignments. Extra copies of assignments will be in the crate next to the absent binder.

 It’s the responsibility of the student to check the absent binder in the back of the room to see any notes, homework, tests or quizzes that you missed.  Extra copies for absent students or late work will be in the crate next to the absent binder.  Absent students will have 3 days to make up work for full credit, after that late points will be deducted.
