Presentation transcript:

Every human is a child of God in a physical sense, Rom.9:8, but such is not the intended meaning. It is not meant as an arrogant statement of self-righteousness, John 8:41. It is a statement of recognized and appreciated spiritual paternity, 1John 3:1-2.

For a claim of spiritual paternity to be valid, We have to think as He does Acts 17:29. We have to feel as He does, 1John 3: We have to act as He does, 1John 3:10, But that’s not all there is to it…

We must first become His spiritual children. He is willing to accept us, and made provisions for it, Matt.11:28-30; but… We must accept Him, John 1:9-13; and, Be adopted into His family, Gal.3:26-29.

Are you “His Child”? Have you come to Him and accepted His yoke? Are you learning from Him? Have you been adopted into His family by being born again? Do you think, feel, and act as your spiritual Father does?
