UTB/TSC Office of Premedical Education Programs Closing the Healthcare Gap in the Rio Grande Valley National ratio of physicians to patients is 1:400 In the Rio Grande Valley, the ratio of physicians to patients is 1:1000 UTB/TSC is committed to closing this gap through Premedical Education Programs Premed Enrollment at UTB/TSC registered 191.7% growth between Fall 2003 and Fall 2007

Mission Provide assistance and promote relationships between students and community’s healthcare providers. Encourage diverse clinical and research experiences.
