 For Youth to find their place in Nature by taking Physical Literacy Outside  Experiential based course that takes learning outside into the local community.  Weaves Outdoor Pursuits with four themes: The Planning Process: Preparation and Safety, The Natural Environment: Science, History and Geography, Photography and Personal Growth Development.  Kayaking, Snowshoeing, Skiing, Hiking, Orienteering, Sailing, Biking,Climbing, Survival Skills  Timetabled with Planning, PE or AT, PE

 To ensure that our learners are receiving a relevant and engaging learning experience, our schools and staff need to be supported with appropriate resources. Beyond curriculum, which areas should be given priority and/or additional attention in the budget?

 Submissions by Tuesday, Feb. 23 rd by partner groups.  This information will be presented at the Finance and Facilities Meeting on Tuesday, March 8th and used by staff as they prepare recommendations for the budget year, and by the Board in their budget decision-making process.  People can submit their own recommendations – see district website.
