Every sentence has two parts- The subject is the who (or what) the sentence is about. The predicate tells what the subject does. Can you tell me how many parts of a sentence? Sentence Subject Predicate

To Find the PREDICATE: Ask what does it do? Find the verb (action or linking) Draw a vertical line before the verb The predicate is the rest of the sentence.
