The history of whaling Whaling was practice since 6000 B.C. by Primitive tribes.

PRIMITIVE TRIBES When tribes hunted they would many times celebrate the fact that a whales was hunt. The tribes used the whales’ meat, bones and oil for their survival.

Primitives tribes made their homes or caves out of whale bones and sticks to protect themselves from danger such as wild animals and bad weather.

Tribes work the whales’ bones to make useful objects.

Primitive Whale Hunt They used their own strength They used arrows They used rocks They used technique they would make a whales go to a place with no escape and then kill it..

Colonial Times

Uses During the colonial times, lamps were light up by using the whales’ oil.

Later a new use was found. By the 20 th century whale bones were used in furniture and other homes accessories.

Today Millions of whales are kill for money by Japan Whales are killed for Their meat, oil and bones.

Do they really need to kill the whales for their resources?
