History Of Tiger TV 2006/07: 12 students – one teacher new class, studio & control room in one room, old equipment used 2007/08:24 students – two teachers got control room and new video mixer with chroma key feature 2008/09: 25 students – two teacher began to upload to internet & first year at Jim Harbin 2009/10:26 students – two teachers presented at Educational Innovations, won grant for new TV 2010/11: 31 students – two teachers added sponsorships and advertisements for funding 2011/12:28 students – two teachers restructured application process due to high volume of interest

Prior to joining Tiger TV, each student must go through an application process.

Students select jobs they would like to audition for and must select tech positions also.

Students then sign contracts for each position they are assigned.

Two schedules are created for each production company. The schedules are rotated weekly.

The students complete a “post- mortem”of their show each day. This enables them to critique and improve their performance.

This is the grading scale/rubric used. The grade is determined by a show of hands.

Spreadsheet Used for Field Research

The producer fills this result log out each day and the results are then delivered to the production company that performed.
