School Attendance & Lateness Policy: 1.Classes begin when the LATE [second] Bell rings. 2.Students not in the room by the late bell are REQUIRED to sign the late book. 3.After 2 latenesses, 2 points will be deducted from your average for each lateness. 4.Refusal to sign the late book involves a 5 point deduction and further disciplinary action. School Attendance & Lateness Policy: 5. After an absence, students must bring in a note signed by a parent/guardian. This note must be signed by all of your teachers and brought to Room 110 [Attendance Office] at the end of the day. 6. It is YOUR responsibility to obtain the Hw assignments missed during an absence from the course webpage or from a fellow student. Aim: How can we achieve success in this class?

Classroom Procedures: 1.Class begins when the late bell rings. You must sit in the seats you will be assigned. PLEASE DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR SEAT AT ANYTIME WITHOUT ASKING FIRST. 2.The door will be closed AND locked at the late bell. If you are late, you may knock ONCE but you MUST wait until I am able to answer the door. 3.The Do-Now assignment will be on the screen, along with the HW assignment for that day. 4.Prior night’s HW will be collected at this time. 5.HW will NOT be accepted after the first few minutes of class. Aim: How can we achieve success in this class?

Classroom Procedures: 6. Class notes will be in Power Point format. Please keep up with your peers when copying your notes. 7. There is NO EATING or DRINKING in this classroom with the exception of water bottles. 8. Please raise your hand when answering or asking a question. Calling out will not be tolerated. 9. Please respect your peers. There is ZERO TOLERANCE for name-calling, bullying, or laughing at any student at anytime, including when a fellow student is answering or asking a question. Classroom Procedures: 10. The use of cell phones and other electronic devices is not permitted. Please keep them out of sight and silenced. 11. Hats and other headwear is not permitted, whether worn by a MALE or a FEMALE student. 12. Bathroom passes are NOT GIVEN during the first and last 10 minutes of class. 12.
