Gaining More Control Over Your Learning Arrive at class on time. Bring the correct binder/notebook to class with all material from previous classes. Organize binders at least once per week. Recopy illegible notes. Have a pen/pencil and lined paper for each class. Copy all notes, examples, hints, and test outlines (even if you have a fabulous memory!).

Aim for the highest level of quality possible (level 4). Copy due dates into your agenda. Complete all homework. Budget your time or complete the work as soon as possible. Hand in all assignments by the due date.

Continue to ask for help until the problem is solved. Respect yourself, others, and property. Always remember that people (including ourselves) are not perfect. Remember that what happens is important. How we react to what happens is more important.
