How do you … Get to High School? No F Grades in any of the core subjects. What are those? English English Math Math Science Science History History

Talk to a partner … What can YOU do to make sure that you do not get a failing grade in any of the core subjects?

How do you … Create a plan for success. Create a plan for success. Set goals. Talk to people about their college and trade school experiences. Prepare by being a good student, now. Get to College or a Trade School?

Expectation: responsible Be responsible for your actions. Turn and talk with a partner about what the underlined word means.

Expectation: Show respect for all people and property. Give an example to your partner of what this looks and sounds like.

Expectation: Bring a graffiti free, three ring notebook to class every day. Talk to a partner about why.

Expectation: Bring a pen and pencil to class daily. Give three examples of why.

Expectation: Use respectful and appropriate language. What impact will this have on the students and staff at this school?

How are you going to get to the next level? Pay attention in class. Ask questions – participate. Do your class work. Do your homework. Get help after school.

Your education is so important, and you can’t get passing grades if you don’t do the assignments in each class. Most of you have no problem with that. But if you do ….
