Why are we centralising logistics? Complex and constrained project programme. UCL is an operational University and is responsible for the safety of the students, staff, suppliers and the public. A Traffic Management Plan sets limits to the number of vehicles that can access the Campus Safely. Control and measurement of project materials and waste. Reduces the impact on the Camden Borough and our neighbours. TRANSFORMING UCL

TRANSFORMING UCL Contractor Considerations Use the Important Logistics Information Tab. Make sure your drivers and suppliers know where to report and know the booking reference. Make sure you allow sufficient planning time for deliveries. Maximise the use of the Consolidation Centre. Small tools and parcels option provides more flexibility.

TRANSFORMING UCL Space Applications WJ are responsible for shared space on campus. If you want to use shared space for; a cabin, skip, material or waste storage, you must get your UCL UPO to apply for this. All applications should be made a minimum of 7 days before to enable us to review it properly and consult the necessary parties. We may request a drawing which shows your proposal and / or a site visit to discuss your requirements.

All hoarding must be constructed in line with the Technical Note from Arup regarding Fire Safety Provisions during construction (ER’s) Hoarding must be painted in the agreed UCL colour (Stone) RAL code 9002 Hoarding is available through Wilson James by making a hoarding request.
