Pollution and population It was all about the damage that is being caused to the world people’s habits a.The world won’t be fit for us to live in. b.Only standing room left for us next century.

Language points 1.If we go on polluting the world, it won’t be fit for us to live in. a.go on doing sth. Eg. The factory goes on throwing waste into the lake. If we go on hunting tigers, none would be left for us to study. b.be fit for/ be fit to do sth. Eg. He is so weak and isn’t fit for the job. The manager is fit for his position. This kind of fish is not fit to eat.
