RILM E learning program RILM E learning program is called E-Shiksha E-Shiksha program aims at improving the quality of learning through the use of curriculum based audio-visual modules in local languages. RILM E-Shiksha module comes in LCD projectors It is integrated product where the software or the module is already uploaded. It is a single classroom installation. One school will have one installation

Selecting School for E learning A Rotary Club may identify Gov’t or Aided primary or elementary schools Schools should have the following: – Availability of electricity or solar power connection, – Secured school premises with at least one classroom with pucca/cemented construction. Club must find out the requirement of the school (Board, language, classes and subjects)

Obtaining E learning Module Rotary India Literacy Mission shortlisted both hardware and software companies Companies are providing quality products at subsidized rates for Rotary Clubs RILM website has details of the offers Software should be selected basis state board curriculum and language Rotary Club may select the hardware from the chart provided at the website.

Cost involved in Elearning The expected cost of E-Learning installation is Rs. 35,000-40,000/- per centre (Projector, Educational content box and additional accessories like mouse, screen, speakers, Ceiling Mount Kit and Annual Maintenance Charges for 2 years) Additional Charges applicable for installation of solar panels. A Rotary Club may apply for the E-learning Grant and the amount of Rs.10,000 will get reimbursed by RILM.
