Structure of Greek Theatre  Look at your synopsis on Page 94, how is the play structured?  Prologue, Episodes 3-5, Exodus and Choral Ode separate each episode.  What is the purpose of the Choral Ode?  Dance and Music are very important in Greek Theatre. What type of theatre is similar to this today?

Telling the Story  The prologue gives you the Given Circumstances and is always said by a God  The Chorus sing and dance the Choral Ode, to emphasis what has just happened  You watch the acted scene
