Radio Console System Upgrade Why do we need to upgrade the Motorola Centracom Gold Console System? -It operates on Windows XP, which is now obsolete? -It has run 24/7 since it was purchased in 2005, generating a lot of use and therefore wear on the system -In 2009, the company that makes the system stopped expanding it (in other words, they no longer made upgrades to the system) -In 2018, the company will no longer supply parts to the system. Jimmie Taggart, E-911 Communications Systems Manager

Public Safety Communications System Upgrades Why do we need to update the HVACs at the Remote Sites? - If overheated, the site can go down, delaying response times across the county. Jimmie Taggart, E-911 Communications Systems Manager
