THE “CENTRIPETAL” MISSION OF THE CHURCH: How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting. Psalm 133 You are like light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden, and no one would light a lamp and put it under a clay pot. A lamp is placed on a lampstand, where it can give light to everyone in the house. Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven Matthew 5:14-16

...their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food... These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them. So God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the priests were converted... all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had... (Acts 6) Judge fairly, show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor... do not scheme against each other....The LORD says: I will live in Jerusalem....once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares. For I am planting seeds of peace and prosperity among you....The earth will produce its crops, and the heavens will release the dew....In those days ten men from different nations and languages of the world will clutch at the sleeve of one Jew. And they will say, ‘Please let us walk with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’” (Zechariah 7-8) They spent their time learning from the apostles, and they were like family to each other. They also broke bread and prayed together. Everyone was amazed by the many miracles and wonders that the apostles worked. All the Lord's followers often met together, and they shared everything they had. They would sell their property and possessions and give the money to whoever needed it. Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely, while praising God. Everyone liked them, and each day the Lord added to their group others who were being saved.
