Supervision During the period under review, intensive supervision was carried out in the various MMDAS office and also by regional staff in other to ensure effective running of the classes.

OFFICE FURNITURE &EQUIPMENTS The newly created offices in the region need office furniture and equipment to facilitate smooth running of the programme.

NEW DISTRICTS Six (6) Offices have been established. They are: I. La Nkwantanang Municipal Office II. La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Office III. Ningo / Prampram District Office IV. Ada West District Office V. Ga- Central Municipal Office VI. Kpone Katamanso Municipal Office

CHALLENGES The offices need vehicle for effective supervision Lack of funds to run the National Functional Literacy Programme Staff need periodic training to enhance the National Functional Literacy programme

THE WAY FORWARD About 150 service persons expected for the cycle More English classes to be established in all MMDs Stake holder discussions to continue for the establishment of learning centers. Recruitment of facilitators for Ghanaian language classes to be enhanced. Refresher training and training of staff and service persons respectively.
