Although Melbourne based the Brotherhood has a national impact through its advocacy of positive social change based on policy and research BSL actively works in the media to provide a balanced view on social justice issues, including refugees and breaking the cycle of generational unemployment. BSL targets its advocacy addressing unmet needs, pilot programs and strategies which can then attract on-going government funding or become self funding. Brotherhood of St Laurence
