Facts about the World cup!!! Approximately 53 countries want to take part in the world cup but only 32 of them are selected. Brazil have won the world cup 5 times in: 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and Italy have won the world cup 4 times in: 1934, 1938, 1982 and England has won it once in: 1966.
